Elizabethtown

Today we went and saw a movie. For the first time in months. And I got to pick. In case you couldn't guess by the title it was Elizabethtown. It had a great cast and a great story. While I enjoyed all aspects of this movie. I was most touched by the emphasis on life and family and creativity. I recommend it.

I know the feeling of boredom you are talking about Nat. I wish I had the self-discipline to work out, that would take care of alot of it. Instead I end up vegging with an easy read or tv. Although I have actually been writing lately! I'm working on a travelogue of my road trip and you are the first I intend to send it to for criticism. Anyway, thanks for the reccomendation, the critics crucified that movie but I don't trust them. I wil have to check it out. I saw "Jarhead" this weekend and although it was somewhat interesting as it gave an entirely different perspective of war but was not compelling at all although just disturbing enough to spark some thought (there is alot of male T&A in it so it is good as far as scenery goes). Anyway I wouldn't fork over theater fare but it is entertaining enough for a rental on a rainy night. Also I rented "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" and I thought it was adorable. Happy Winter Movie watching
